Tasks that use what you know.

No busywork. You judge, write, and fix the things AI gets wrong in your field. Here are a few examples of the kind of tasks experts take on.

  • Rank and critique two model answers

Read two AI responses to the same question, pick the better one, and explain exactly what each got right or wrong.

  • Write a hard question with a rubric

Create a question that would stump a smart model, then write the grading rubric an expert would use to score the answer.

  • Review AI-generated code and fix it

Find the bugs and edge cases in code a model wrote, fix them, and note why the original would fail in production.

From application to paid work in four steps.

We started as an AI recruiting company, so we built the interview ourselves. It's quick, structured, and focused on what you actually know.

  1. Apply

Tell us about your background and your field. It takes a few minutes.

  2. AI interview

A structured conversation about your field, usually 15 to 20 minutes. Take it anytime, from anywhere.

  3. Skills check

Some projects add a short, task-based check so you can show your depth on real work.

  4. Get matched and paid

You see the scope and pay before you start, and get paid for approved work.

Clear work, fair pay, your schedule.

We respect your time and your expertise. That starts with telling you exactly what the work is and what it pays.

  • Pay shown upfront

  • Remote and flexible

Work from wherever you are, around your day job, your family, or your research.

  • Work that uses your real expertise

The tasks need what you know. Your judgment is the whole point, not a box to tick.

  • A fast, fair interview

One structured AI interview, usually 15 to 20 minutes, built by people who run interviews for a living.

  • No AI experience needed

You don't need to know how models work. We show you the task format. You bring the expertise.

Questions experts ask.

What kind of work is this?

You use your professional knowledge to help AI models get better. That can mean ranking and critiquing model answers, writing hard questions and grading rubrics, reviewing AI-generated work for errors, or annotating data. Every project explains the task before you start.

How much does it pay, and how is pay set?

Each role shows its rate before you apply, and each project shows its pay before you accept it. Rates depend on the domain, the difficulty of the work, and the level of expertise it needs. You get paid for approved work.

What qualifications do I need? Do I need AI experience?

You need real depth in your field. Depending on the project, that might be a degree, years of professional experience, or proven skill in a specialty. You don't need any AI or machine learning experience. We show you how each task works.

How many hours do I have to work?

The work is remote and flexible, so you can fit it around your schedule. Some projects have deadlines or ask for a certain number of hours each week. If they do, we'll tell you before you start.

What is the AI interview like?

It's a structured conversation with our AI interviewer about your field and how you work. It usually takes 15 to 20 minutes. There are no trick questions. We want to see how you think.

If I pass, am I guaranteed work?

No. Passing the interview means you're eligible for projects in your field. How much work is available depends on what AI labs need at the time. We match new projects to profiles every day, so a strong, complete profile helps.

Can I apply from my country?

Availability varies by project. Some projects are open to experts in many countries, while others need a specific location, language, or work authorization. Apply and tell us where you're based, and we'll match you to projects you're eligible for.

What happens to my application and personal data?

We use your application to assess your fit and match you with projects. You can read the details in our Privacy Policy.

Is this legit? How do I avoid scams?

Yes. We will only contact you from official Ventra channels, and we will never ask you to pay to work. If anyone asks you for money, equipment purchases, or banking passwords in Ventra's name, don't respond, and contact our support team.

Help shape the AI everyone will use.
